Most young palomistas, aged 8 and 18, have been classified, or simply participated in the Spanish regional championships record, but also compete with many other pigeons who enroll only for the championship.
This exception is made to give an opportunity for those who are new to this exciting sport and to encourage the fans, because when they are adults they must be sorted into championships at lower levels.
Each week there will be three loose, beginning at seven o'clock, and the young participants will also attend other complementary activities, including craft workshops to learn how to build drawers for transport of pigeons and aviaries.
The "pigeon Club La Magdalena" was founded in 1952 and officially registered in 1962 by its principal promoter and President Antonio Perez Zafra.
