The Local Security Board of Ceuta poses new devices to increase collaboration with the Civil Guard and tackle the rising crime in the region, mostly in cases involving the subtraction of power lines, manhole covers and scrap.
The Government delegate in Murcia, Joaquin Bascuñana, today chaired the Board held in the city of Ceuta, which was attended by the mayor of the municipality, Juan Felipe Cano, the first deputy mayor, Worship Ayala, the council of Safety, Jesus Hernandez and Civil Guard commanders, including the chief Colonel Murcia Command and the Commander of Molina de Segura, and the Directorate General of Public Safety and Emergency.
The municipal government, in coordination with the Government Office, has revived this kind of encounter with the security forces, which met in Board since 2004, although security checks have actually increased for months.
The meeting also planned to set up safety devices during festivals and other public events during 2013.
