The official chronicler of Ceuta presents a play about the local culture of the decades of the 50s and 60s of the twentieth century (17/11/2014)

The official historian of Ceuta, José Antonio Marin, filed on Friday November 14 at the Auditorium of the Cultural Center of the municipality his "Culture in Ceuta in the decade of the 50s and 60s of the twentieth century."

"In this book I pick a set of documents, events, characters that we get to meet the cultural splendor that was in Ceuta in these years," says the chronicler, who also notes that this work pays homage to characters like José Antonio Hernández Carmelo Garcia and Rodrigo Garcia, "which accounted for much of Ceuta young at the time, contributing to their personal and intellectual development."

Also an exhibition

The presentation of this book is part of the municipal proposal also includes the exhibition "Homage to culture in Ceuta in the decade of the 50s and 60s of the twentieth century," which opened on Wednesday 12 November in Room Exhibition of the Cultural Center of the municipality.

This exhibition will be active Monday through Friday (18-20 hours) and will have free admission.
