17/01/14 The "Peña San Roque" of Ceuta has launched a project to restore the image of the pattern of the town, San Roque, whose current appearance presents a state of disrepair that advises its renewal.
"It will be a complete restoration, allowing the return of damaged parts, the whole painted reliefs and recovery of its most outstanding pieces," says the president of the organization, Juan Francisco Carrillo.
The restoration will cost close to 2,600 euros and will be carried out by local restaurateur Alfredo Tormo.
"Work will begin shortly and will last around two months, so that the pattern will be ready for our Party," says the local mayor, Juan Felipe Cano, indicating that the City will also provide an amount and encourages neighbors and neighboring municipality to participate in "this initiative which will benefit all the people."
To raise the necessary funds for this work the "Peña San Roque" ceutiense perform various activities.
The first will take place next Saturday, January 31 at the restaurant "La Frasquita" of the municipality, a dinner that offer a delicious menu with a covered 30 euros for adults and 12 euros for children.
