Marta Ponce, natural footballer of Ceuta, has been called by the Spanish Under-16 to participate in a rally at Soccer City of Las Rozas (Madrid).
This will take place on 9 and 11 November, and will serve to show that the Murcia player in training the national team its value for future competitions.
The footballer, who currently plays for CD Zeneta Second Division, began his career at Atletico AD Ceuta and then enlisted in the Sport Association Ceuta-Murcia.
There he remained until the 2014/2015 season, where he went to call at his current club.
"Marta is usual Murcia youth teams and now your call to test for the national team is another example of its potential, demonstrating every day," says the mayor of Sports, Jesus Hernandez, who also recalled the importance of the quarry of women's football in Ceuta.
"This commitment to start the women's football in our village started by Francisco Puche, who currently remains coach of the local club," says the councilor.
