Some serene landscapes of Ceuta and the Vega del Segura, with sober, still life and fantastic images from the Mar Menor, show starting tomorrow in an exhibition of Pedro Serna Cultural Center, with which marks the fifteenth anniversary of its showroom
Serna exhibits a work in which we appreciate the magnificence of the simple, but with the added value given by the painter in watercolor technique, with its clean semitransparent allowing us to see step by step when designing their creations.
Ceuta is seen from the sensitivity so tender and affectionate as the artist gives his watercolors Murcia, with those watery so suggestive to show the blinding Mediterranean ambience, with those targets and these leaks to help us feel one with the set, and dry brush such as spontaneous as vibrant, confrontation of the specifics on the whole, which, in effect, we recall the essence of our landscape.
Pedro Serna, precisely who inaugurated the Cultural Center ten years ago, accompanying his exhibition of landscapes and still lifes with drawings of his own family, something unusual for the painter in particular with respect to portrait mode that does not usually show in public.
