The Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy will allocate a specific budget to the City of Ceutí to resume and finalize the renovation of the building that will house the Women's Center, as announced today in Ceutí the vice president of the regional government Isabel Franco.
These facilities, which are halfway built, will also serve as the headquarters for the Center for Specialized Care for Women Victims of Gender Violence (CAVI), which serves Ceutí and Lorquí.
Last year, the CAVI of Ceutí attended 566 women from both municipalities and registered a total of 1,508 individual interventions.
Most of them (1,238) were face-to-face.
Isabel Franco explained that the Ministry "seeks to favor that, from Ceutí, women find a specific area for them, focused and created by always pressing on women."
Likewise, the counselor transmitted to the mayor of the municipality, Juan Felipe Cano, "the satisfaction of being able to make this announcement the week in which International Women's Day is celebrated."
