The general director of Citizen Security and Emergencies, Antonio Luis Mula, belonging to the Department of Transparency, Participation and Public Administration, visited today the municipalities of Ceut and Lorqu , which next year will form part of the Emergency Civil Protection Plan for Forest Fires in the Region of Murcia (Infomur). The general director met with the mayor of Lorqu , Joaqu n Hern ndez, with whom he visited the facilities of the municipality's Civil Protection group.

They also discussed the 'Program of aid to local police in the municipalities of the Autonomous Community of the Murcia Region 2021-2025', which will allow the municipality to receive 287,500 euros, next year , intended to maintain and improve this service. On the other hand, Antonio Luis Mula held a meeting with the mayor of Ceut , Juan Felipe Cano, and with Civil Protection personnel from the municipality after visiting their facilities.

Mula explained that this municipality "corresponds to 287,500 euros for the aid program for local police, which will mean that Ceut will have two more police posts next year." The new program, endowed with 94.2 million euros, articulates the necessary mechanisms to promote the creation, by city councils, of 600 new officers in the next five years, until reaching 2,850 agents among the 45 municipalities of the Region. The members of both Civil Protection groups participated in the courses 'Basic tracking and monitoring of affected by Covid-19' and 'Supervisor of tracking and monitoring of Covid-19'.
