The Community has completed the rehabilitation of 44 social housing in Ceutí, an action that has consisted in the improvement of facades, roofs, sanitation network and accessibility in common areas by increasing the width of the sidewalk.
The general director of Planning, Architecture and Housing, Laura Sandoval, and the mayor of the municipality, Juan Felipe Cano, supervised today the end of the works that have involved an autonomous investment of more than 318,000 euros.
Laura Sandoval explained that the performance of the Ministry of the Presidency and Development "aims to contribute to improving the quality of life of its occupants of housing, by adapting the buildings and renewing the image of this group of homes."
The maintenance of optimal habitability conditions is an action that is part of the policies of the regional executive to ensure access to decent housing for people who need it most.
This is complemented by other initiatives of the State Housing Plan, which includes aids to rent, subsidies for urban rehabilitation and regeneration and improvements in accessibility in buildings, among other measures.
In the area of ​​social housing, the Ministry of the Presidency and Development is acting in the rehabilitation of 477 social housing in nine municipalities, in the acquisition of new housing for the relocation of families in situations of social exclusion and the construction of ten other homes .
