The National Police dismantled a processing center and distribution of drugs in Ceutí (01/06/2011)

Those arrested were equipped with a laboratory for processing and adulteration of drugs located in a flat in the town of Murcia

June 1, 2011.

National Police agents assigned to the Provincial Criminal Investigation Brigade of Murcia, have arrested eight residents of the town of Murcia Ceuta, six men and two women, as responsible for a crime against public health.

In the operation have been seized 1,500 grams of cocaine and 100 grams of hashish.

The police action began this past March when the research on two subjects, presumably dedicated to drug trafficking, allowed the officers to locate a home located in a central street in the town of Murcia Ceuta, which could be being used activities by the previous distribution of drugs.

After investigating for several weeks, the environment and people associated with this address, last week proceeded to intercept the three men came out of it, who have seized small amounts of narcotics.

Subsequently arrested the two residents of the home they left it and after obtaining the appropriate judicial authority held a measure of entry and search of the home, proceeding to the arrest of two women who were in the same and dismantling of a laboratory responsible for processing, altering and packaging of narcotics, armed with numerous products and materials for this purpose.

The register involved 1,500 grams of cocaine, 100 grams of hashish.

Finally, yesterday afternoon held the arrest of the last of the investigation, a Colombian man aged 35, who was involved 15000 grams of caffeine powder, a substance commonly used to adulterate cocaine.

During the investigation it was found that, on occasion, for the transaction of money for drugs and to avoid personal contact, sellers and buyers using the elevator of the building, so that the drug was placed inside and once collection is in the estate portal for buyers, the money was sent to vendors by the same means.

Three of those arrested are Spanish and five from Colombia.

All of them are aged between 27 and 45 and were charged with a crime against public health, although three of them were released after giving evidence in police custody.

The other five were made available to the magistrate on duty the last day of the current 27.
