The mayors of Ceuta, Alguazas, Lorqui Cotillas Towers and Archena met this morning with representatives of the National Association for Welfare Services Unit (ANSAD) in the first town to lay the groundwork for the creation of a "City Gerontology "with name" Vega Media Lord Resort "in the town of Ceuta.

The project, first in Europe and promoted by a group of international investors, will have 4,000 homes, a hotel, a college of gerontology and two nursing homes, all aimed at providing care for seniors.
The project will foster the creation of between 1,500 and 2,000 direct jobs, plus many more indirect and would involve an investment of between 300 and 400 million euros.
The type of work and industry experience shows that ninety percent of direct jobs will be for women.
ANSAD convene technical entrepreneurs in the municipalities of the region in their respective localities to offer participation in the project as suppliers of goods and services specifically for seniors, and begin to organize training courses for future employees of the resort.
Regarding the location and area proposed by the City of Ceuta in their municipality, "Vega Media Lord Resort" will occupy about 400,000 square meters next to the road to Mula, near the hermitage of San Roque and the sports complex Miguel Indurain.
