The director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Thomas Perez Fuentes, and the mayor of Ceuta, Juan Felipe Cano, today presented awards to the ten winning students, a total of 111 participants, the drawing competition of the "Grow security ", whose work respond to the teachings received in their schools about the risks they are exposed to in class, on his way home and at home.
The awards ceremony took place at the plenary hall of this council, attended by the Councillor for Education, Nicholas Ascension, and the coordinator of the company Sico and Safety Engineering, Juan Carlos Simon, a firm that has conducted the talks.
The students, all from 5 ° of primary schools San Roque, Diego Martinez Rico, Juan Ayala and Los Torraos were also taught through games and multimedia brochures, with those who learned how to prevent and respond to any fire burns, electric shock, cuts and falls, in addition to the seating and posture during lifting.
The lectures are also intended to create habits of these behaviors so that they can serve them in their adult life and the observance of the Law on Prevention of Occupational Risks in their future occupations.
The campaign organizers believe that the papers have shown that children know and some of the risks, and others have assimilated during the lessons, which may be subject and the preventive measures that have to exercise.
