The Conservera ranges from contemporary art spaces most prestigious international (11/09/2012)

The Contemporary Art Center Conservera after his recent appearance in the American magazine 'Monocle' and participation as coach of artists for 'The Future Generation Art Prize', has again been recognized internationally to be included in the 'Art Spaces Directory '(Art Spaces Directory), an international guide for spaces that enrich contemporary art.

This publication and its digital version is part of the Triennial of 2012's 'New Museum' in New York: 'The Ungovernables', an exhibition, through different artistic disciplines, analyzes the identity of a generation that experienced the effects of revolutionary movements of 1960 and 1970.

The 'Art Spaces Directory', edited by the curators Eungie Joo and Ethan Swan, is a resource guide with over 400 independent art spaces in 96 countries worldwide, and aims to raise awareness of the spaces that promote young artists, as well as investigating the potential for experimentation and the exchange of ideas through residencies, exhibitions and public programs.

The Cannery, which opened its doors in May 2009 in Ceuta, focuses its programming in cycles of four exhibitions on display simultaneously.

This temporary exhibition program focuses on artists from different generations.

They are both local and foreign artists.

All these shows are produced in-house.

This characteristic differentiates Conservera other exhibition spaces to be overturned only in the production of specific projects for their spaces.

The showroom Veronicas Church, located in the center of Murcia, is from February 2011, the fifth space of The Cannery.
