The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, and the mayors of Alguazas, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, and Ceuta, Juan Felipe Cano, today visited the site of the new general sewage collector of the Saladar, leading peripheral waters of Alguazas the towns of Ceuta and the purification of this county, where they will be treated for reuse.
This project aims to improve and solve the disposal of wastewater from an area southeast of the town of Ceuta, where some of the existing collectors were already in bad shape, and also provide sanitation to the area and the neighborhood Saladar of taunts in Alguazas, explained the owner of Agriculture.
The collector has a length of 1.4 kilometers, and is divided into three sections.
The first strand corresponds to the sewage collecting area of ​​a population of Ceutí.
The second section begins near the district taunts in Alguazas, by the margin of the road, while the last phase collects water from the two previous sections to connect with Ceutí purification.
The investment in this infrastructure is 393,500 euros, financed by 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union, and will be managed by both municipalities.
"This will allow reuse every drop of water," remarked the owner of Agriculture.
The Minister noted that "debugging Murcia knows no limits or boundaries" between municipalities and stressed the importance of this infrastructure, "although it is underground, is a contribution to the improvement of public services and the environment, with greater impact on the quality of life for residents of the area. "
