On the morning of Tuesday 17 February the Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, and the mayor of Ceuta, Juan Felipe Cano, officially inaugurated the East manifold municipal wastewater.
The length of this collector of gravity is 589 linear meters, its execution was carried out in one phase and the investment of almost 236,000 euros has been carried out by the Directorate General of Water of the regional government.
This new infrastructure to evacuate water sanitation of the area from the River Guadalentín street in the industrial area of ​​the municipality until the old pumping Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), eliminating the costs of the pump.
This evacuation will channel the wastewater to the treatment plant currently in operation, located in the vicinity of the road Alguazas.
The ceremony was also attended by the CEO Water, Joaquín Grin, and the local council Works and Services, Jesús Hernández.
