On the morning of Thursday 19 February the mayor of Ceuta, Juan Felipe Cano, and the general director of Educational Centers, María Dolores Valcárcel, visited the school "San Roque" of the town to check the result of the work of renewal in which the regional government has invested 96,945 euros.
These tasks, which ended a few weeks ago, have been conducted in two phases.
In the first, which was in summer with an investment of 32,247 euros, we proceeded to the renovation of one of the bathrooms in the area dedicated to the classes of kindergarten, who was in poor condition for use, and part of the metalwork, he was "quite shabby," Cano stated.
The second part of the work has been done this winter and has involved various fixes: has undertaken the renovation of paving their children's playground, has reformed the Child and other bathroom has executed a new onslaught of sanitation, facilitating the evacuation and, as consequence-the disappearance of atranques and odors.
"In addition, we have completed the restoration of metalwork remained to be repaired, allowing a more comfortable and efficient center, with saving energy," stressed Valcárcel at the end of the visit, which also participated local council Works and Services, Jesús Hernández, and Education, Ascension Nicholas.
