The new general sanitation collector of the hamlet of Los Torraos of Ceuta will have an excess of 486,000 euros to be contributed by the regional government, through the Directorate General of Water of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water investment.
This project, which has already started its tender dossier aims to improve and resolve definitively the disposal of wastewater from Torraos eliminating the existing pumping station (Ebara) having numerous operational problems and high maintenance costs to throughout the year.
"It will build a collector of gravity to solve the problems of the current system," says the mayor, Juan Felipe Cano, who notes that "the infrastructure is obsolete, it is very expensive to maintain and has many bugs that cause in some cases wastewater discharges to the ditch. "
"With the proposed solution, the pump is removed with consequent costs involved," says the mayor.
