For three days, a midwife and a midwife delivered at the Cultural Center of the town the first edition of "Basic Training Course in breastfeeding counseling, during which mothers experienced in raising respectful learning to communicate their knowledge, directly or by telephone to other women.
Councillor for Health, Josefa Abad, breastfeeding gives children the best possible start in life, a practice that is recommended to continue until 6 months of life of children, and stresses that in addition to putting the baby to the breast within the first hour of birth, experts recommend appropriate complementary feeding for children from 6 months, but continue breastfeeding until 2 years of age or older.
Breastfeeding and protection of maternal health and prevent diseases of infants, along with other benefits of breast-feeding and shapes are some of the subjects taught in the course.
