The Housing and Land Institute promotes the construction of public housing in Ceutí (24/12/2008)

This new regional government's action is part of the Regional Housing Plan which seeks access to housing of Murcia

The Housing and Land Institute (IVS) of the Ministry of Public Works and Planning of the Region of Murcia, has tendered the transfer of a parcel of 1,110 square meters in the city of Ceuta to the construction of public housing under a sale, as listed in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia on 12 December.

The Institute's managing director, Jane Brown, stressed that "the promotion of social housing is a priority of the regional government, under the Regional Housing Plan 2007-2010, with the firm intention of facilitating access to Murcia housing and improve their quality of life. "

Companies wishing to compete for land acquisition and the subsequent promotion of housing in the same, should apply before the 20 days following its publication in the BORM ad.

The base budget bid for the parcel is 391,507 euros, plus VAT and other taxes and charges applied to the transmission.

The project foresees the construction of 30 houses across the street from the vineyards of the town, on land owned by the Institute for Housing and Land swap in exchange for future work and according to criteria of suitability for the environment, environmental impact, thermal optimization lighting and accessibility.

The IVS continues and actions for the promotion and construction of social housing which, at present being carried out in the towns of Alhama, Bullas, Calasparra Caravaca, Cartagena, Cehegín, Ceuta, Cieza, Lorqui Mazarrón Moratalla, Murcia, Torre Pacheco, Ulea and Yecla.

Those interested in acquiring the houses in this promotion, which will be allocated by public ballot, they must contact the Directorate General of Housing and Architecture, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, to request information and register for the registration of applicants.
