Under the title "mad scientist", the Centro Cultural de Ceuta hosts some exhibits about the magic of chemistry and its integration into everyday life, shows will take place on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2, at 17: 30 hours.
The scientific world purportedly shows a difficult language and mysterious, hidden under the names impossible to pronounce, formulas and laws, but nothing is further from the truth.
Science around us is part of us in our daily lives and our reasoning and common observations.
That is the true magic of science, at once so obvious and so strange.
On the basis of a table of experiments in physics and chemistry designed for all audiences, participatory and surprising, chemist David Meseguer held two exhibitions of science recreation.
These simple experiments, funny, curious, amazing or just fancy that will allow us to understand in an enjoyable way some of the basic principles of nature.
Did you know that bleach or pickles can be used to illuminate a room, or does a piece of metal that breaks like glass if cold enough?
In fact, are chemical reactions, electricity and home-magic will become apparent in the demonstrations.
