Florenciano work combined iron and wood, and they abound or imitated elements drawn from everyday life in their own forge shops where they have been made.
With them, the sculptor uses profits fabulous tale allegorical representations of these objects in other contexts as well as a fantastic recreation of the cosmos and elements like the sea and sky.
For his part, Ruben uses mixed media in which different metals combined with oils applied to canvas, colorful representations, with prevalence of spot colors, symbolic and surreal.
Before the opening, a sculpture show Florenciano Antonio has made in memory of José Ramón Jara, who was councilor and deputy secretary general Ceutí PSRM-PSOE when he died in December 2008.
The work, donated to the town, entitled "Feelings" is a swallow flying with an olive branch in its beak, "symbols of peace and the dedication of the people of Ceuta" ceutiense politician, according to the author.
The sculpture measures 2.70 meters high and 90 centimeters wide and is made of iron plates 25 / 3 mm, with welded construction.
It weighs 150 kilograms and will be installed in the lobby of Centro Cultural de Ceuta.
