The duo of musicians Alasdair Fraser (Scotland) and Natalie Haas (USA) returns to Ceuta to show the perfect fusion between the violin and cello in the context of Anglo-Saxon Celtic and traditional music.
The concert will be held next Saturday at 21:30 at the Municipal Auditorium.
Alasdair Fraser has gained international recognition as the main performer, recording artist and professor of violin's rich tradition of his native Scotland.
Since 2007 works with Natalie Haas.
The American cellist has brought about the resurrection and reinvention of the musical marriage between big and small violins, a common characteristic of Scottish music in the eighteenth century.
Alasdair Fraser has published eight albums under his name, including "Dawn Dance", which won the Independent Award for Best Celtic Album of the Year in 1986.
He has also taken his music to film soundtracks such as Titanic and • The Last of the Mohicans.
In 1997 he joined the group "Skyedance, along with Eric Rigler, Chris Norman, Peter Maund, Michael McLinden.
With Natalie Haas released the album "Fire and Grace" in 2004.
